When is Spring 2019?
According to the Met Office, Spring has two official start dates, one meteorological and one astronomical.
The Meteorological start date is likely to be March 1, based on the annual temperature cycle.
In the astronomical circle, the official start to spring will be on March 20, as it measures the Earth's orbit with the Sun.
The astronomical seasonal start is officially called the Spring equinox and will end on June 21, three months later for the Summer solstice.
This means Meghan will give birth in the months from March to June 21 astronomically, and March 1 through to May 31 meteorologically.
The pair got married on May 19, 2018 after a whirlwind 16-month romance after going on a blind date in London.
The prince has told how "all the stars were aligned" when they met.
"This beautiful woman just sort of literally tripped and fell into my life, I fell into her life," he said when their engagement was announced last November.
The former actress's pregnancy fulfils the pair's long-held ambition to become parents.
