Melania Trump opted for a conservative look as she attended the International Women of Courage (IWOC) Awards today. Ditching her signature fitted dress, she wore an oversized black frock with long sleeves. It was her first public appearance since Donald Trump, 73, announced plans for US travel bans due to coronavirus fears.
Melania Trump looked classy in the black garment that had a high neck and loose fit.
The dress had three quarter length puffy sleeves with a navy frills at the end.
The former model will often show off her slim waist with fit and flare style dresses.
However, she opted to wear the black smock dress as she appeared in Washington.

The dress cut off at her knees and she braved the cold by keeping her legs bare.
She wore her highlighted brown hair styled into a bouncy blow-dry that sat on her shoulders.
Melania's make-up was simple and she wore dark eyeshadow with a nude lipstick.
The US First Lady attended the IWOC Awards that are held every year and gave out prizes to the 12 winners.
The ceremony recognises women from around the world who have shown leadership, courage and resourcefulness with a focus on promoting women’s rights.
She stepped out without her husband, Donald Trump, who has recently been speaking on the action plan against coronavirus.
Earlier this week, Donald suggested new travel restrictions for those traveling to the US from China and Iran.
The President explained he was looking into more bans “from certain countries where they’re having more of a breakout".
Although precautions are being taken across the world, NHS guidelines state it is still safe to go out in public amid concerns.
The NHS website said: “Most people can continue to go to work, school and other public places.
"You only need to stay away from public places (self-isolate) if advised to by the NHS 111 online coronavirus service or a medical professional."
Melania did not seem concerned about the health risk today as she hugged and shook hands with the 12 award winners.
As well as handing out awards at the event, Melania made a speech for the guests.
Last week, she wore another black number and recycled a sleeveless utility dress first seen in 2018.
It had large pockets at the front and pulled in at the waist.
