White Stuff shoppers praise 'slimming' summer linen dress that's 'very flattering'

High street retailer White Stuff has impressed shoppers with a linen dress that's perfect for the British summer. 

The flattering Beth Linen Blend Shirt Dress, £85, features white stripes against blue - and it's the ultimate Wimbledon-ready piece. With its fitted silhouette, the item is part of White Stuff's latest summer collection. It has certainly caught the attention of shoppers and the black version is nearly sold out online.

The shirt style is undoubtedly flattering on all body types, as well as being timeless enough to wear year after year. The striped pattern and tie belt at the middle help create the illusion of a "slimmer waist" and "hourglass silhouette". 

Shoppers have not held back in praising the design as the dress has collected numerous positive reviews. One delighted customer, who bought the dress in size 10, described it as a "beautiful dress" and gushed about it saying, "Lovely fabric, hangs really well and looks lovely on."

One enamoured customer rated the dress 4 out of 5 stars, stating, "The linen is good quality and well made lovely for the summer it's a good length and buttons are easy to do up and sleeves are smart with turn back and button strap".

"This is a great dress," a third added. "I bought the size 12 and am 5ft 2 and it's a suitable low calf length for work, which is where I plan to wear it. Feels lovely, really nice, and is well made. Arrived very creased so will need sorting before wearing, which is always a shame."
