Jose Mourinho AI chat tool launched offering personalised fan interactions

José Mourinho has become the first celebrity to have his personality duped in an AI chat tool – giving 'limitless' responses to fans. Fans are encouraged to share their funniest blunders to receive a video message from the gaffer, which can then be sent to their pals via WhatsApp.

It is the first time AI technology has been used to mimic the personality of a major talent in this way with the system able to respond to users' questions and provide a limitless range of personalised responses.

The AI used unique 'chain of thought' architecture to makes the responses as 'José-like' as possible.

A team of 100 people were involved in creating the virtual 'Special One' by filming hours of conversation about his career, football and personal life. With AI using unique 'chain of thought' architecture to makes the responses as 'José-like' as possible.

His voice, mannerisms and expressions then went through eight stages of software processing to produce an AI-powered clone of the former Chelsea boss. It was trained to not only look and sound like the real José, but think like him too.

The fun application has been created by Snickers and is available to use on smartphones via its 'Own Goal' page.

Mourinho said he was "excited" to have team up with the chocolate brand to bring the technology to life.

Every answer is unique and provides a personalised experience for each user, including the names, the own goals they input and how the AI-powered Jose reacts.
