The humble council house has long been the subject of stereotypes, but one family have blown those preconceptions out of the water by unveiling their stunning home makeover.

The Fajolu family, who share their home transformation journey on TikTok, have gone viral with their incredible before-and-after photos.

When they first took possession of their property, it was a blank canvas - no carpet, no flooring and barely a lick of paint on the walls. Fast forward to the present, and it's hard to believe it's the same place.

The family has worked tirelessly to turn it into their "dream home", and the results are breathtaking. From the sleek, modern entrance to the plush bedrooms, every room is a masterclass in style and sophistication.

The interior design is chic and contemporary, with a predominantly grey and white colour scheme, punctuated by bold black accents and strategically placed mirrors. Even the garden has been given a makeover, with a tidy patio, scattered chippings and a comfortable outdoor seating area which is perfect for soaking up the sun.

While it may seem like a huge overhaul, you can achieve the same stylish results with simple adjustments. A lick of paint and new floors can make all the difference!

It's no wonder the video has racked up more than 3,000 likes and countless comments. Viewers can't get enough of the Fajolu family's impressive handiwork.

One fan gushed: "Looks beautiful - very classy." Another admirer wrote: "You guys have done an awesome job. You should be very proud."

A third enthused: "Stunning. Hope you make happy memories living there."

A fourth chimed in with praise, saying: "Lovely job. You have turned your house into a lovely home."
