Carpets need to be hoovered and cleaned regularly to keep them looking fresh. Fans of Mrs Hinch have shared cleaning advice on how to freshen up carpets using a fork and hairdryer.
Mrs Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchcliffe, has inspired homeowners to share their cleaning tips.

How to clean carpets
Posting in a Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook group, one woman shared a hack she had come across.
She detailed how to freshen up a carpet and leave it looking like new.
No cleaning products were required for this and she simply asked others to grab a fork and hairdryer.
She posted: "If you have carpets that need the life brought back into them or bits that are matted, here is what I did with products you’ll definitely have in the house.
"[Use] a fork (or spoon), a hairdryer and a spray bottle (I just cleaned an old one out thoroughly).
"Optional product is a teaspoon of fabric softener.
"The process can be lengthy but it is worth it (especially since professional carpet cleaners can not work yet)."
The social media user detailed the method she used to revive her carpets.
To start, she asked homeowners to spray the affected area with warm water.
Then, they can use the side of a fork, or spoon, and pull along the carpet fibres to lift them.
Finally, dry the area with a hairdryer and repeat across the entire carpet.
The homeowner shared pictures of before and after she used the hack.
The post garnered a number of likes as others showed their interest in trying the hack.
