You may have heard the saying ‘When robins appear, loved ones are near’, and according to TV psychic Sally Morgan, there’s truth to it.

She explained that if you’re looking out for a sign from spirit, “one of the first signs you’ll receive is a robin”. “Robins are free, they fly in, they fly out”, Sally, who travels up and down the country with her tour, explained, saying that you’ll “know” it's your loved one because you will “instantly think of the loved one that has passed”.

Sally, who has appeared in various TV shows including Sally Morgan: Star Psychic, said that robins are people in spirit who “want to say hello” - and it doesn’t matter how much time has elapsed since they passed. The psychic then urged people to keep their eyes out for a robin today, because “it could be a sign from spirit”.

According to jindesigns, “the well-known phrase, 'When robins appear, loved ones are near', alludes to the belief that the robin is a messenger.  “When robins are seen, some people take comfort that loved ones are at peace, and many believe that their lost loved ones are visiting them.”

They also shared that the unofficial bird of Britain is “highly regarded”. “The next time you see a robin in your garden, be sure to give them the time of day. You just never know what message they may have for you”, they urged.

In the comments of Psychic Sally’s video, the thought that robins were poignant resonated with many. One woman wrote: “Now how crazy is this? My brother and I were chatting in my garden, and a robin flew on another chair beside us, chirping away at us and looking at us. We had just lost our mum and were talking about her it was going crazy until we looked up at it”.

Another added: “I am obsessed with robin spotting. I hadn’t seen one for years and then when my little dog died I saw them every time I was on a walk”. Someone else shared: “I have a robin often coming to see me it’s me mum I hope she trying to tell me everything will be ok.”

“My hubby always says hello dad to the robin that comes in our garden”, a TikToker wrote.
