A hilarious Canadian took to TikTok to explain how he was "currently stranded" in the Cotswolds after his train was cancelled.
A hilarious Canadian TikToker has recalled how he got "stranded" in the Cotswolds after his train was cancelled.
Matt Giffen, who has amassed a following of 195,000, took to TikTok to explain how he was "currently stranded" in Moreton-in-Marsh, a historic town in the pretty Evenlode Valley.
Matt had been visiting Cotswolds Farm Park and came to Moreton-in-Marsh to get a train back to London.
However, the Canadian experienced the typical British thing when he heard the dreaded words that his train was cancelled.
The TikToker hilariously explained what had happened, saying: "We showed up here and the train was cancelled and the next one is not for a few hours so we’re just stranded here in Moreton.
"To be honest there are a lot worse places to be stuck. This place is f***ing gorgeous dude."

In response, thousands of Brits rushed to react with brilliant comments.
@Username1 said: "There are about eight pubs in Moreton-in-Marsh, that’s not stranded, that's an opportunity."
Whilst @Itsjustbrighton added: "At least you’re getting the full UK experience with cancelled trains."
“When you first said stranded I was oh no! And then you said it was a couple of hours' wait for your train and you’re in a town", said @firefly.605.
Despite being "stuck", Matt seemed pretty taken with the market town.
He said: "I feel like in a couple of years when I retire I am going to move out to a place like this. Like suburban England, you know what I’m saying."

The Tiktoker continued: "The history here is insane dude, the buildings, look at the cars. I need to get lost in places like this more often.
“Like this is an honest question if you live in England - are you impressed by places like this, that this is the vibe? Or are you just used to it because a lot of the places in the UK look like this?"
