Is tomorrow a bank holiday? Is it a bank holiday this weekend?
MAY is a favourite month for many because of its many bank holidays. Is there a bank holiday this weekend? Is Friday a bank holiday?
Met Office: Warm temperatures expected to remain across UK
As time blends into one for most of us at the moment, some might not have even noticed there's a bank holiday coming up this weekend. Coronavirus has pushed most of the UK's workforce into working from home if they are able to, and social distancing rules mean pubs, cafes and shops are still closed, along with a ban on gatherings and meeting more than one person from outside your household.
Is Friday a bank holiday?
No, Friday is not a bank holiday - but the good news is that Monday is.
The double bank holiday comes earlier in the month.
There has been talk of an extra bank holiday being put in place in October, hopefully when the coronavirus crisis has mostly passed.
The idea was put forward by the UK's tourism agency Visit Britain.
Its acting head, Patricia Yates, told MPs on Tuesday the industry had lost the benefit of two bank holidays in May because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Downing Street said the Government was supporting the tourism industry through this "challenging period" and would "respond in due course" to the proposal by Visit Britain.
A spokesman said it was "worth acknowledging that extra bank holidays do come with economic costs".
Ms Yates said an extra day later in the year would enable the UK tourism sector to extend the season.
She said the industry was struggling to keep up with developments and it was very difficult to estimate the amount that would be lost because of the coronavirus lockdown.
Despite this, some places are still full of tourists now that day tripping has been put back on the table.
Police have expressed alarm after day-trippers descended en masse to beaches in since the loosening of lockdown rules earlier this month.

"All the offences have been recorded and will be processed in due course.”
There are currently no coast guards on duty from the RNLI due to coronavirus.
Last weekend alone, coastguard rescue teams were called out 194 times for a variety of incidents.
There were call outs for inflatables drifting offshore, crashed jetskis, people injured while out walking or cycling along the coast, paddle-boarders, kayakers, windsurfers and kitesurfers who were in difficulty as well as people cut off by the tide.
