LIDL’S turkeys are out stripping competition such as Sainbury’s and Waitrose in terms of price. The supermarket’s hand-plucked, game-hung, free-range bronze turkey costs £8.99 per kg - £4 cheaper than Waitrose’s version at £12.99.

The brand’s ultimate free range Broadland bronze turkey costs £7 per kg while the free range bronze turkey costs £5.69 per kg.
Large, medium and small turkeys all cost £3.89 per kg.
Other festive food delights from the budget store include smoked salmon for £3.29 and Prosecco for £4.99.
A turkey crown costs £16.23 while sprouts are parsnips are only 19p.
That is £4 cheaper than Waitrose’s version at £12.99

Roast potatoes in goose fat will set you back £1.29 and you can get your hands on a Lidl Christmas pudding for £2.99.

Lidl’s new range, Esmara Premium, aims to bring luxury underwear to British women on a budget.
The push up bra comes with soft paced cups, topped with lace.
It is also available in a range of colours including black, white, coffee and a blue multicoloured pattern.
