Peroni clearly tops the list for the most-loved tipple with almost half (50 per cent) of its customers being from the higher socio-economic groups.
Heineken is hanging behind for a close second, with 45 per cent of its lager-lovers also being in the top two social grades.
The mid-range beverages include Beck's, Budweiser and Stella, which all have between 36 and 39 per cent of their customers in the upper and middle class.

At the bottom of the list with the smallest percentage of upper and middle class customers are Fosters, Carling and Carlsberg.
