Walkers unveils 3 new crisp flavours - including popular English dinner taste

The popular crisp brand's new flavours are already out on shelves - but anyone who wants to try them will have to act quickly as they're limited-edition.

Walkers is launching three new flavours this summer with plans for them to hit supermarket shelves soon. The new crisps are part of a partnership with FIFA for the Men’s World Cup 2026. The flavours are inspired by several countries taking part in the global football competition.

The crisps will offer a take on dishes from England, Mexico, Spain, and Portugal. New flavours include Walkers English Bangers & Mash, Walkers Wavy Spanish Queso, and Walkers Max Portuguese Chorizo and Onion. The flavours are all limited-edition, so they won’t be around for long. Anyone looking to get their hands on a packet should head to shops now as they’re only available until August 7.

The crisps will be easy to spot on shelves with each one in a special World Cup promotional packet.

  • Shoppers will also be able to spot football legends including Sir David Beckham, Thierry Henry, and Lionel Messi on pack across Walkers core 150g sharing range.

    The packets will feature “gamified” QR code experiences, with the chance to win instant prizes, including merch, home viewing bundles, and food delivery vouchers.

    There will also be bigger prizes available, with two grand prizes worth £10,000 available, reports Metro.

    Rob Pothier, portfolio marketing director at Walkers, said: “With crisps a classic choice when watching sport, the FIFA World Cup 2026 is a key calendar moment for retailers to drive category growth.

    “The activity across our core range, supported by a standout on-pack activation, aims to support retailers in achieving exactly that.

    “What’s more, Walkers’ new limited-edition flavours, which capture the essence of the tournament with their global inspiration, will give shoppers more matchday choice and help retailers tap into football fever this summer.”

    He added: “Football is a team game and by including Doritos Mexican Beef Taco and Wotsits Golden Balls, we’re bringing even more excitement to snacks fixtures for retailers, and big football fixtures for fans.”

    Prices start from £1.10 for a grab bag, £1.89 for large sharing bags, and £2.15 for 5-pack multi-packs.
