Mixed vegetable raita
MIXED vegetable raita is a very simple dish that is easy to make and should take only a couple of minutes. It makes a delicious accompaniment to biryanis exotic rice dishes.
There are many other different varieties you can try.
Serves 5.
INGREDIENTS
1 tomato, finely chopped
50g onions, finely chopped
50g each, mint and coriander, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
Salt, to taste
400g yogurt
METHOD
1 Mix the chopped tomato, onions, green chilli, mint, coriander in a bowl, add salt to taste.
2 Add the yogurt to the bowl.
3 Mix all of the ingredients well and serve as an accompaniment to biryani/pulao.
