Cadbury aficionados have been on tenterhooks amid swirling rumours that a cherished chocolate treat might face the axe.

The confectionery giant previously shattered hearts by axing its Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange bar, sparking widespread panic among devotees.

Under a recent TikTok video, Cadbury addressed the elephant in the room after fans bombarded them with the burning question.

One worried fan queried: "Hi Cadbury, I just saw a video saying your Fudge was being discontinued? Is it true?" Another anxious chocolate lover chimed in: "Is Fudge getting discontinued?"

The iconic Fudge bars, featuring a creamy fudge centre cloaked in delicious Cadbury milk chocolate, have been a staple of British sweet tooths since their debut in 1948.

The classic Fudge bar, immortalised by its catchy jingle "a finger of fudge is just enough to give your kids a treat", stirs up warm, nostalgic feelings for many Brits.

But fear not, Cadbury has stepped in to quash the rumours. It responded: "Don't worry, our Cadbury fudge is still here!" And to put another fan's concern to rest, it added: "Isn't going anywhere".

This comes after Nestlé Confectionery UK & Ireland announced the limited return of Caramac, the beloved caramel-flavoured treat.

Fans were disheartened by its discontinuation last year, but their voices have been heard, and Caramac is making a temporary comeback.

Starting this week, the classic Caramac bar, a three-bar multipack, and a sharing bag of Caramac buttons will be available nationwide while supplies last.
