Grilled plums with mascarpone
GRILLED plums with mascarpone.
INGREDIENTS
Serves 4
6 firm ripe plums
2 meringue nests, about 40g (1½ oz)
4-6 tbsps mascarpone cheese
4 tbsps caster sugar
METHOD
Preheat the oven to 200°C/400°F/gas 6.
Cut the plums in half and remove the stones. Arrange them in a small roasting tin, cut-side up.

Crush the meringues and sprinkle into the plums and add a spoonful of mascarpone. Sprinkle with the sugar and bake for 20 minutes.
