Method
Step one
It's time to hull your strawberries.
To do this you need to insert a sharp knife next to the stem cap.
Hold the strawberry in your left hand, and turn the strawberries.
This will cut the stem out rather than slicing away too much of the strawberry.
Do this for every strawberry you want to blend.
Step two
Blend the strawberries
Step three
Push the resulting strawberry puree through a sieve to remove some of the seeds.
Step four
Tip the sieved puree into the blender again.
Step five
Add the ice, rum, and lime juice to the blender.
Blend again until fully mixed and smooth.
Step six
Divide the mixture between two Martini glasses.
If you haven't got a Martini glass, try any wine glass except a flute (the larger the better!)
Step seven
Take your lime and strawberry slices and slip them onto cocktail sticks.
Pop the cocktail slips onto the edge of the glass, and serve immediately.
How to rim a cocktail glass
Want to make your cocktail really fancy? You should rim the glass.
Make sure you prepare the rimmed glasses before pouring the drinks in, though.
You'll need salt and a lemon wedge.
Prepare the glasses by rubbing the rim with a lemon wedge.
Get a plate and sprinkle it with a lot of salt.
Dip the glass- rim side down- into the salt on the plate.
The salt will stick to the rim, and you are ready to pour in your cocktail.
