Tesco and Heinz have issued recall warnings to those who have recently picked up their items. Those who have recently bought Heinz products from the supermarket chain are being urged to check their cupboards. This is the full list of affected items.
A warning has been issued for on Heinz products as they could pose a possible safety risk.
The Food Standards Agency website said: “Heinz and Tesco are voluntarily recalling all 7+ months Heinz By Nature baby food range after the discovery that a single jar of baby food had been tampered with.
“Two sharp metal fragments were found in the jar. Only the jars in the 7+month range and purchased from Tesco are affected.
“The same product and same batch codes at other retail stores and in other packaging e.g. pouches are not affected.”

The pack size of 200 grams, all batch codes and all dates codes are being recalled.
HEINZ Cottage Pie
Pack size 200 grams with all batch codes and all best before dates.
HEINZ Mango Chicken Curry
Pack size 200 grams with any batch codes and best before dates.
HEINZ Sweet and Sour Chicken
Pack size 200 grams with all batch codes and all best before dates.
HEINZ Spaghetti Bolognese
All batches with a 200 gram pack size and any best before dates.
HEINZ Sunday Chicken Dinner
Pack size 200 grams with all batch codes and any best before dates.
HEINZ Pasta Bake with Tuna
The pack size 200 grams with any batch code of best before dates are affected.

The baby food products are being recalled as they could contain sharp metal pieces which would make them unsafe to eat.
Anyone who has bought the product are to return the jars to the store they were bought for a full refund.
Point of sale notices have been issued and were displayed in all retail stores selling the product.
The notices give details on why the product is being recalled and what consumers should do if they have bought the item.
Recall warnings are not often issued but something that should be taken seriously by consumers.
