Kia has revealed the new Forte 2019 at the Detroit Auto Show 2018.
The new Forte 2019 features an updated design which is reminiscent of the new Stinger.
It is slightly less muscular and sporty that the Stinger and has a more traditional saloon car shape.
In particular the front-end including the grille and headlights looks like they were lifted from the Stinger.
Overall the updated design makes the new Kia look like a premium vehicle that looks far more expensive than it will be.
Inside the car a large touchscreen sits at the centre of the dashboard and soft-touch material has been used across the interior.
Kia claims that the Forte will have some of the best luggage space in its class.
The expanded vehicle dimensions have also provided more space inside the cabin for passengers.
Standard equipment will include an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Powering the new car is a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle engine which produced 147bhp and 132 lb ft of torque and comes mated to a CVT transmission.
Kia said that its CVT transmission has been reworked to become more exciting to drive.
Combined mpg is said to be around 35mpg, a slight upgrade on the previous generation.
A number of driver assistance systems have also been added which include blind-spot monitoring, lane-keep assist, forward collision warning and adaptive cruise control.
Prices for the car will be revealed later this year closer to its release date.
