The reason the 911 was at the event is because the car will be one of the headline cars in the upcoming Forza 7 game.
Porsche became the first car maker to debut a car at the gaming event.
The sports car features on the front cover of the new racing video game which will be available on Project Scorpio, PC and Xbox One later this year.
The new GT2 RS is the most powerful 911 ever built with over 650bhp horsepower and 750Nm of torque to play with.
It is likely to feature a modified version of the 911 Turbo S engine, which was introduced earlier this year.
At its launch at E3 the new 911 has a monstrous front-end with the giant air intakes, front bumper and splitter.
