DS 7 Crossback REVEALED - Pictures, specs, design and tech
DS AUTOMOBILES has launched the 7 Crossback, a new SUV which will make its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2017.

Up until now, Citroen's sister brand DS has only released rebadged Citroen cars since its launch in 2014.
Now DS is launching their first production car the 7 Crossback, their debut car, which joins the DS3 hatchback, 4 family hatchback, 4 Crossback SUV and 5 executive car.
DS offer a more luxury and stylish product over Citroen equivalents.
The large-SUV has a pronounced front grille and bumper, headlights design and muscular lines across the body. the rear headlights features a criss cross design, small spoiler and chrome lined bumper.
“At all stages of the design process, the guiding aim for DS 7 Crossback was to express refinement, excellence and the best know-how implemented to the highest standards," says Thierry Metroz, Director of Style, DS Automobiles.

Inside the car is a 12.0 inch infotainment touchscreen, customisable digital instrument display and fur trim levels - Bastille, Rivoli, Opera and Performance Line.
All versions of the car benefit from LED headlights, an infra-red night vision system and semi-autonomous drive system.
The 'Active Scan' suspension system uses cameras to scan the toad ahead of it and the automatically adjusts it to make a more comfortable ride.
The premium SUV will take on the Audi A5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC
When the Crossback goes on sale in 2018, it will be available with three petrol and two diesel engines which can be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission or six-speed manual gearbox.
Various driver assistance systems will be included on the 7 Crossback on such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist and autonomous parking, plus driver fatigue monitoring.
In 2019, DS will release a 300bhp petrol-electric hybrid variant of the 7 Crossback called the 'E-Tense' will go on sale.

The car will take on premium SUVs such as the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz GLC.
Prices for the car are rumoured to start around £30,000 and the car will be available to buy from 2018.
