Ka goes Black and White – and Fiesta gets updates, too
FORD launches new special editions of Ka city car and fits even more economical engines to best-selling Fiesta.
Ford Ka is the new car on the block and is more economical than its best selling Fiesta
Ford is introducing two new special editions of its Ka city car – the Ka Black and Ka White – featuring exclusive exterior and interior designs.
The black or white bodywork and white interior detailing are designed to reflect trends in clothing and technology.
Buyers have a choice of Midnight Black or Crystal White bodywork, black 16in five-spoke alloy wheels as standard and the option of a body-coloured roof spoiler.
Inside, the seat trim is black with white details (seam stitching plus the sides of the headrest, seat bolster and seat base), while the leather steering wheel and handbrake also feature white stitching, as do the gear shift gaiter and floor mats.

The gearshift knob, the steering wheel spokes, centre console, door grab handles and air-vent surrounds are finished in Pearl White accents.
At the same time, the Ka’s Titanium top trim level also receives equipment updates, including leather trim with heated front seats, a full-length glass roof, rear parking sensors, side and curtain airbags, new 16in alloys and black painted grille – as is a new body colour, Grey Matter. One for brainy drivers, perhaps?
The Fiesta – Britain’s best-selling car – is also to receive some updates.
Under the hood, buyers of the Zetec S trim level have an additional engine choice, a three-cylinder, 137bhp 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine.
In addition, a 17in wheel design, previously only available on the Red and Black special edition models, is standard on all Zetec S models.
All Fiesta models from Style upwards also now receive LED daytime running lights as standard and DAB radio becomes a free-of-charge option on Zetec S.
