Best bank accounts for FREE money as HSBC launches £200 switch offer
HSBC is offering new customers up to £200 free cash for a limited time, as more bank accounts provide tempting opening perks.
People who switch to the provider's Advance of Premier current account from today will be paid £150.
Another £50 is then paid on the year anniversary of opening the bank account.
The offer is available until July 23, but anyone who has been a HSBC customer since January 2015 is excluded.
Stuart Haire, HSBC UK’s head of retail, said: “There are a number of reasons customers choose an Advance or Premier account, and now, for a limited period, those switching across to these accounts can also enjoy this £200 offer."
But HSBC is just one of several bank account providers offering free cash and offers to new customers.
New TSB customers can make up to £250 in year by switching to the bank.
The provider gives £130 to anyone who switches via MoneySupermarket or MoneysavingExpert until June 26.
And customers will also receive £5 a month if they set up two direct debits, and another £5 if the debit card is used 20 times in a month, to earn another £120.

Furthermore, TSB pays three per cent interest rate on balances up to £1,500.
Another option is a free £125 after opening a First Direct account through MoneySupermarket until July 3.
The Halifax Reward Current Account also pays £75 to new customers and then £3 a month, as long as £750 a month is paid in, the balance stays in credit and two direct debts are set-up.
