How often is PIP paid?
Claimants will receive their PIP payments every four weeks.
You will probably get PIP for a fixed amount of time which will be explained when your payments begin.
Once you are accepted for the payments, you will receive a decision letter.
This will tell you:
- the date of your first payment
- what day of the week you’ll usually be paid
If your payment date is on a bank holiday, you will usually be paid before the bank holiday.
After this, you will continue to get paid as normal.
