GMB: Martin Lewis explains the Premium Bonds prize boost
Premium bond investors will find out today whether they have successfully added to their savings accounts as NS&I release their latest winning numbers. NS&I release their high-value prize winners on the first of the month, with a range of amounts savers can win. The most coveted amount is the £1 million prize and the smallest amount investors can win is £25. Unlike regular savings accounts there is no interest with NS&I, so savers are left hoping for a win to make any progress with money they’ve set aside.

NS&I releases both a list of their high-value winners and includes a method for people to discover if they have won a lesser amount.
The savings company has a search engine for savings account holders to input their holding number.
People can also check whether or not they have won in months previously, as the search tool includes ‘previous six months’ and ‘unclaimed prizes’ options.
Those who aren’t internet savvy or don’t have their holding number on hand can check the old-fashioned way.
