It’s released in a year’s time but much mystery surrounds the Avengers Infinity War sequel's title.
However Gamora star Saldana may have accidentally let it slip when doing press for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 last year.
Speaking to the BBC, she said: “The Guardians just shot their part when it comes to Infinity War – the first part – and we all have to go back for Gauntlet later this year.”
So does this mean Avengers 4 is called Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet?

Supposedly not according to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn.
Asked about the apparent gaffe during an interview with Yahoo! Movies, he said: “It’s not the title. My guess is that Zoe just misspoke.
“I’ll talk to Zoe today, but I would imagine that is just Zoe misspeaking and saying Infinity Gauntlet instead of Infinity War.”
Nevertheless she did specifically call the first part Infinity War and referred to filming Avengers 4 – which did shoot in the latter half of 2017 as she said – as Gauntlet.

Gunn also seemed noticeably cautious in his interview with Yahoo, so perhaps it really was a gaffe but he was covering up for Saldana.
Nevertheless Infinity Gauntlet doesn’t sound like the sort of title that’s worth covering up due to spoilers.
So maybe the word Gauntlet is actually part of the real and more exciting title?
Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
