Justice League BACKLASH: Star speaks out as fans rage over THIS shock move
JUSTICE LEAGUE has attracted criticism already for what appears to be a big change in costume for the Amazons.
Justice League is finally out this week
Controversy arose when it was suggested online, based on behind-the-scenes images, that the Themyscirans would be showing a lot more flesh than they were in Wonder Woman earlier this year.
It was noted that the Wonder Woman costume designer was female, while this time around it’s male.
Brooke Ence, who played an Amazon in both films, has spoken about the change - saying the cast never thought of the new outfits as “sexy” in any way.
"The girls on set, we never thought of [the new costumes] as a sexy version,” she told USA Today.
In case you wonder: Here's a picture of how the Amazons looked in Wonder Woman...next to pic how they look in Justice League. First designed by Lindy Hemming, second by Michael Wilkinson.

This is generally how the Amazons appeared in Wonder Woman
“It felt a little more glamorous, if anything, because we had bigger, beautiful hair, which I loved.
"I'm an athlete first, right? I can't wear anything without someone commenting about my body.
“So for me, it was actually really cool to be able to show it and not immediately feel masculine, but still very feminine."
It’s unknown exactly how many of the Themyscirans will be in the new outfits, but the film is released at the end of this week.

Yesterday Ben Affleck was quoted as saying that he and Wonder Woman will have “sexual tension” in the film, and also spoke about his potential exit from the DCEU.
The star admitted that he is “contemplating” his involvement in solo adventure The Batman, which he was previously supposed to direct and write as well.
Justice League is out on Friday, November 17.
