Following the huge success of Wonder Woman earlier this summer, the Israeli actress is set to star in Justice League later this week.
Warner Bros already have a second solo outing set for Gadot in 2019, but now it looks like the star will leave the role if producer Ratner isn’t dropped following recent sexual harassment allegations.
According to Page Six, a Hollywood source said: “Brett made a lot of money from the success of Wonder Woman, thanks to his company having helped finance the first movie.
“Now Gadot is saying she won’t sign for the sequel unless Warner Bros buys Brett out [of his financing deal] and gets rid of him.”

The insider added: “She’s tough and stands by her principles. She also knows the best way to hit people like Brett Ratner is in the wallet.
“She also knows that Warner Bros has to side with her on this issue as it develops.
“They can’t have a movie rooted in women’s empowerment being part-financed by a man accused of sexual misconduct against women.”

The only criticism so far has been for Steppenwolf when one commentator said: "The flaws rest mainly on the rapid-fire pace, lack of suspense and a villain that fails on every level to be scary, formidable or memorable. Thankfully, the League does not fall in that category."
Wonder Woman 2 is set for release on December 13, 2019.
