Trailer: Star Wars The Last Jedi
The Last Jedi is out on December 14 in the UK, and a day later in the US.
But can it trump Episode 7: The Force Awakens - which posted the highest opening ever with $247.9 million domestically?
According to Box Office Pro, not quite - but it certainly won’t be far off.
Star Wars’ latest chapter is expected to gross a hefty $215 million in its first frame - which, while slightly below Episode 7, is still the second-highest opening of all time.
