DEADPOOL 2’s Cable, played by Josh Brolin, has been revealed by Ryan Reynolds.
Ryan Reynolds surprise-releases Deadpool 2 teaser
The first look at the Marvel character for Deadpool 2 was shared by Reynolds on his Twitter account.
The Deadpool star wrote: “We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future. #PremiumCABLE #JoshBrolin.”
Played by Brolin, Cable is a time-travelling cyborg from the future, who is part of the X-Force mercenary team in the X-Men comics.
Filming is currently underway for Deadpool 2, which will see the Merc with a Mouth and Cable team up.

Cable is the second Marvel comic book character that Brolin is playing at the same time, while also starring as the villainous Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War.
Reynolds’ reveal comes after he released the first look at Deadpool 2’s other major new character, Domino.
Played by Zazie Beetz, Domino is also a member of X-Force.
The David Leitch-directed Deadpool 2 will introduce Jack Kesy as the, as yet unnamed, villain.

Meanwhile Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus will be back, alongside Morena Baccarin as Deadpool’s love interest Vanessa.
Deadpool 2 will be released in UK cinemas on June 1, 2018.
