The Foreigner trailer: Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan in James Bond director IRA thriller
THE FOREIGNER movie trailer has landed starring former James Bond Pierce Brosnan and Jackie Chan in the Casino Royale and Goldeneye director Martin Campbell’s IRA thriller.

Last year pictures were released for the new film of Brosnan looking very much like Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams.
Coincidentally the former Bond is playing a former IRA man turned politician in new thriller The Foreigner.
Brosnan is reunited with Martin Campbell, who directed his 007 debut, Goldeneye, as well as Daniel Craig’s Casino Royale.
The actor stars alongside Chan, who plays a man who plays a man whose daughter is killed in an IRA bombing.

Brosnan plays Deputy First Minister Liam Hennessy, an Irish MP who is head of investigating the bombing.
The first action-packed trailer sees Chan’s Quan intent on finding the bombers, while Brosnan’s Liam seemly attempts to keep the truth covered.
With no answered Quan sets out as a vigilante to find out who killed his daughter.
Brosnan recently revealed the big influence Sir Roger Moore had on him growing up.
The Foreigner is based on 1992 novel, The Chinaman
The new film is based on Stephen Leather’s 1992 novel, The Chinaman.
The Foreigner is set for release in October, 2017.
