Baywatch movie star Alexandra Daddario opens up on sexy reboot: ‘It’s off the wall’
BAYWATCH star Alexandra Daddario has opened up on the making of the new film - and how she prepared for it.

The 31-year-old - who previously starred in True Detective, White Collar, Percy Jackson and San Andreas - plays Summer Quinn in the reboot, a role originally made famous by Nicole Eggert in the TV series.
Speaking to Men’s Fitness, she said: “I watched a bunch of episodes of the show.
“We all took some creative liberties with the characters — we had a lot of opportunity to improvise and bring our own sense of humour to the roles.
“We could curse, or make a d**k joke, and no one said, “You can’t do that.”

The movie is completely off the wall—in the best way—and very self-aware
She added: “The movie is completely off the wall—in the best way—and very self-aware.
“When Nicole Eggert found out I was playing her old part, she congratulated me on Twitter.”
Baywatch has, however, been suffering enormously with reviewers and audiences alike.
Critics have been almost unanimously negative about the movie, with only a few giving less-than-damning verdicts.

Box office receipts are also set to be a huge disappointment.
Estimates have put the film at as little as $25 million for its opening week - a long, long way down from the $40 million (in some cases $50 million) it was previously forecast to make.
Baywatch is out in the UK tomorrow.
