Star Wars 8 Last Jedi is not finished yet: Director Rian Johnson gives update
STAR WARS EPISODE 8: THE LAST JEDI is nearing completion, director Rian Johnson has revealed.

Speaking at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando, the film-maker explained that the motion picture is currently in post-production.
“We’re in post production,” he said.
“We’re still editing but we’re very far along and its all coming together.”
Top boss Kathleen Kennedy was full of praise for the director, who took the time to meet fans last night.

“He is on his way to standing alongside many of the great filmmakers
“He is on his way to standing alongside many of the great filmmakers that I’ve had the opportunity to work with,” she said.
“He has an amazing uniqueness to what he does. He also writes as beautifully as he directs which is incredible and he writes amazing fierce and independent women.
“He’s also got a great sense of humour, and that is so important to Star Wars - so it’s a pretty fantastic package.”
Speaking of filming the movie, Johnson went on: “We had the time of our lives making this movie, such a joyful experience.

“We were shooting in Pinewood, it was my first time being there, but for me growing up it was like Pinewood was Camelot!
“A mythical place you heard about, to actually set up camp there and come into work everyday - it added to this magical experience.”
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is out on December 15.
