Star Wars 8 news: The Last Jedi title is DEFINITELY plural and here’s the proof
The Star Wars 8 German title is plural, meaning The Last Jedi are a group, not a person
Those who are familiar with the language will know that the letter N on the end of letzten, meaning last, is the plural of that word.
If the title was referring to a single Jedi it would come in two different forms, depending on whether they are male or female.
The male singular would be, Der letzte Jedi, while the female is, Die letzte Jedi.
The big question now is who are this group of last Jedi?
Most likely it probably refers to Luke and Rey, although maybe there will be a big twist – fans will just have to wait and see.
Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi is released in UK cinemas on December 15, 2017.
