Next James Bond fan favourite choice pushes Aaron Taylor-Johnson into second in new data
The fan favourite choice for the next James Bond has pushed Aaron Taylor-Johnson into second place, according to new data.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is rumoured to be Barbara Broccoli’s choice to be the next James Bond as even some bookies’ suspending odds.
However, another major star has pushed him into second place regarding who is the fan favourite to take up the Licence to Kill next.
Betway Casino conducted new research analysing the number of Google searches, articles, article engagement and Reddit mentions for 31 potential actors, revealing who has generated the most hype online and is therefore the fan favourite to play Bond next.
And while Taylor-Johnson came second, the internet’s choice for the next 007 is Henry Cavill.
The research highlighted: “With 5,400 Google searches for ‘Henry Cavill Bond’ in the past year, Cavill is at the top of the list for internet queries. He also has the most Reddit mentions discussing the likelihood of him playing the role, at 120 overall from the threads analysed.”

The Superman star has long been high up in the bookies odds for the 007 role. After all, Cavill was runner-up to Daniel Craig for Casino Royale in the last round of Bond auditions almost 20 years ago.
According to the data, the other fan favourite names further down the list included Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Theo James, Jamie Dornan, Tom Hiddleston, James Norton and Dev Patel.
