Avengers Infinity War: Marvel star CONFIRMS their character did NOT die in Thanos’ Snap
THOR RAGNAROK star Tessa Thompson has confirmed her character Valkyrie survived Thanos’ Snap in Avengers Infinity War.
Avengers Infinity War: Teaser ahead of DVD release
After Thanos’ Snap the fates of a number of Marvel characters wasn’t made entirely clear at the end of Avengers Infinity War.
While some actors and The Russo Brothers have confirmed a number of survivors off-screen, others have remained a mystery.
And one of the biggest has been Thompson’s Valkyrie.
The Asgardian was last seen aboard Thor’s refugee ship at the conclusion of Thor Ragnarok.
But once Avengers Infinity War began Thanos was on board and had murdered a large number of the Asgardians.
While Loki and Heimdall met their ends at the hands of the villain and his Black Order, the fate of characters like Korg and Valkyrie were unknown.
But then back in May director Joe Russo confirmed their escape.
He said: “Prior to the start of that scene, escape ships were deployed for Asgardians, including Valkyrie.”

But while she survived the massacre, what about the Snap?
Well one fan asked Thompson on Twitter recently: “Did Valkyrie disintegrate?”
To which the actress simply reply: “No, she’s in one piece and THRIVING.”
That’s certainly some good news for Avengers 4 and the fight back against Thanos.
Meanwhile Thompson has been attending Avengers 4 reshoots in Atlanta with Chris Hemsworth.
Thompson was also spotted filming scenes last year at Durham Cathedral with a Rocket Raccoon stand-in and the Thor star.
The pair are also currently shooting a Men in Black spin-off in which they play agents at the London branch.
Avengers 4 will be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
