Amanda Holden: Britain’s Got Talent judge spills backstage secret about THOSE live outfits
AMANDA HOLDEN - who stunned in the first Britain’s Got Talent live show last night - has dropped a behind-the-scenes bombshell about her outfits, which have consistently caused a stir in recent years.
Britain's Got Talent: Amanda Holden wows in tulle gown
Amanda Holden has previously sparked Ofcom complaints with her racy attire, and she has now admitted that she can change what she wears at the “last minute”.
The actress, who has been on the Britain’s Got Talent panel since it began in 2007, admitted that she even has clothes delivered to her by taxi.
Yesterday, the 47-year-old turned heads for all the right reason as she teased her assets in a strapless pink gown.
Amanda said she starts preparing for the week of ITV instalments by sending shots of other women looking “incredible”.
Speaking to Saturday Magazine, the presenter started: “I’ve got an amazing stylist and I send her hundreds of images of women that I think look incredible.
Here we go…! First Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final of the week!
“We get most of our things made for us and usually have an idea in our heads of colour schemes and designs.”
Amanda continued: “But then it can change on the day! Lots of amazing designers see the show and send outfits at the last minute.
“You might get one sent by taxi and you go, ‘Oh, I’m wearing that instead’, which happened last year.”
However, everything seemed to go to plan for the return of the programme, which saw Declan Donnelly host the programme minus Ant McPartlin.
Amanda gave fans a glimpse of her attire via Instagram prior to going live, when she posed against a concrete wall.
She wrote to her 712,000 followers: “Here we go…! First @bgt live semi-final of the week!
“Dress: @uelcamiloofficial shoes: @prada jewellery: @hsternofficial. Glam: @karindarnell @itsdash @angiesmithstyle #underthearches channelling @sarahjessicaparker #sexandthecity #movie.”
Her number highlighted her slender frame with a tight-fitting bodice and a strapless neckline.
It also came complete with a frilly skirt, ruched detailing and a drastic train, while she wore her tresses up.
When asked how else she prepared for BGT, Amanda stated: “I’m quite a healthy, fit person anyway, but I up the ante before the lives because it’s the big week of my year and I want to look my best.
“I’m not a massive believer in diets, but exercise and the odd juice is what gets me in the right skin and muscle tone.
“I have a bit of a spray tan and I’m away.”
Meanwhile, Amanda also took to the picture-sharing app today to reveal her latest project, which comes complete with a “special symbol”.
She added: “The Ladybird has been a symbol of hope for my family and I, and is considered a sign of good fortune around the world, and now I can wear it close to my heart!
“… I’m so excited to share my #BundleBerry necklace with you all, I hope you’ll love it as much as I do. Tap the link in my bio to get yours.”
Britain’s Got Talent continues tonight at 7.30pm on ITV.
