The 39-year-old actress is said to have welcomed her new arrival with screenwriter Jamie after they were pictured together on what is thought to be their first public outing with the newborn.
In snaps obtained by Hollywood Pipeline, Jamie could be seen carrying a tiny tot while The Notebook star walked close behind him, keeping a low profile in a baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
Her beau beamed as he cuddled the infant.
The website reports that the couple could be heard “gushing about what a good sleeper he is” and saying “he’s a good baby”.
Reports first emerged that the Mean Girls actress was expecting in February, when it was rumoured that she was seven months pregnant.
Rachel and Jamie first started dating in 2016 and keep their relationship and personal lives out of the spotlight.
She was reportedly spotted dining at Staplehouse in Atlanta with her partner when an onlooker claimed that she was pregnant.
“She looked to be at least seven months pregnant,” a source told Life and Style at the time.
“When they were leaving, somebody asked Rachel if she knew if she was having boy or girl and she didn’t know.”
E! News also reported that multiple sources had revealed that the blonde beauty was expecting her first child.

Neither Jamie nor Rachel have confirmed the pregnancy or birth.
The About Time actress has been largely absent from the public eye in recent months and hasn’t been seen on the red carpet since September.
In late February, she opted to give the premiere of her new film Game Night a miss.
Rachel previously opened up about her plans for a family in 2009.
“Having a few [children] would be great. I’m looking forward to it someday,” she told InStyle.

“My mom is a great inspiration to me,” she added. “She’s a nurse and very nurturing and gentle.
“She lets me be who I am. Hopefully I can take on those qualities and be as great as her."
She later told the publication: “Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children.
“It’ll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.”
