IT'S one of the biggest nights of the year for actors and actresses in Hollywood, so it's no surprise the stars have spent the day preparing for tonight's 74th Golden Globe Awards.

Maisie Williams, Goldie Hawn, Lily Collins and Amy Schumer were amongst celebrities to take to social media to share snaps of themselves getting ready earlier today.
Game of Thrones beauty Maisie shared a few photographs with her 4.4 million Instagram followers, with her posting one of herself in the bath with a face mask on, as well as another two shots alongside her sister Beth.
Lily took to Instagram to share a short clip of herself doing up her "final zip", while Amy posed behind Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's seats.
Ryan then got his own back, as he posted a picture of himself sitting between Amy and Goldie Hawn's seats.

Goldie also posted a shot of herself leaning back in a chair while her glam squad worked their magic.
She captioned the post: "Super pumped for the Golden Globes."
Blake Lively then got in on the action, with her sharing a snap of herself taking a photograph in the mirror, while her team got to work on her hair behind her.
Tonight's star-studded ceremony - which is taking place at the Beverly Hills Hilton in Los Angeles - is set to be hosted by Jimmy Fallon.

The Crown and The Night Manager are tipped to win big in terms of the TV awards at the bash, with Claire Foy - who plays Queen Elizabeth in The Crown - expected to take home the best actress gong.
John Lithgow is favourite to win best supporting actor for his role as Winston Churchill in the television category.
BBC’s The Night Manager is just ahead with four nominations, including best miniseries and best actor for Tom Hiddleston.
Meanwhile, in terms of the film categories, La La Land - which stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone - is also expected to win big.
