Now 15, the actress is hoping to make it in the music biz with the release of her debut single, Good Thing, though it isn't just her job change that's set to have people talking, as she has also drastically transformed her look.
The teen is a far cry from her days as Bianca Jackson and Ricky Butcher's daughter, having shunned her ginger tresses for a new auburn style and an all-round more glamorous style.
Speaking about her new single, the singer - who regularly shares covers of well-known tracks on her YouTube channel - said: "I've always wanted to make a cool pop record that people could relate to, dance to and feel good listening to.

"By teaming up with my producer Darren Martyn to make Good Thing, I feel like we achieved that. I am so excited to finally let people hear it!"
Maisie first appeared on EastEnders in 2008, when she was just six years old.
The former soap star quickly wowed with her performances and won the British Soap Award for best dramatic performance for a young actor the following year.
She also nabbed the Best Young Actor prize at the Inside Soap Awards in 2011.

Maisie departed the soap alongside Patsy Palmer in 2014, with the Jackson family leaving Albert Square behind to start a new life in Milton Keynes alongside Bianca's new boyfriend.
Answering fans' questions in a YouTube video last year, the youngster said that she would never rule out a return to EastEnders.
Since waving goodbye to Walford, Maisie has seemingly discovered a passion for music and can play the guitar, compose songs and choreograph her own dance routines - all while studying for her GCSEs.
