Caroline Flack confesses she would often 'turn to wine' to help with X Factor stress
CAROLINE FLACK has admitted she turned to alcohol to help her deal with the stress of co-hosting the previous series of The X Factor.
The 26-year-old presented the singing competition alongside Olly Murs before being axed earlier this year.
Speaking about how she dealt with being dropped from the show, she revealed: "I wasn't feeling 100 per cent healthy or 100 per cent happy.
"I couldn't turn to someone and say 'fix me' - I had to do that myself."
She confessed to The Sun: "I used to turn to wine if I had a stressful day. And I acted like it was a treat. But it's not a treat.

"You're just covering up your stress rather than dealing with it."
The presenter added: "I wasn't looking after myself."
Both Caroline and Olly came under fire from critics for a number of blunders during the live shows, including the Troublemaker singer wrongly telling Monica Michael she was going home when the vote had gone to deadlock.
But she said she no longer reads negative reviews: "Not everyone is going to like you so you have to filter it."
Caroline is currently busy filming the second series Love Island and appears to be enjoying herself if her Instagram photos are anything to go by.
In a recent snap, the brunette beauty can be seen having fun by a pool as she soaks up the sun in a black swimsuit, which she captioned: "Just doing this now."
Speaking about the upcoming series, she told Digital Spy: "I think last year they didn't know what the show was going to be so everything was trial and error, even though it found its feet and got really good.
"I think this year they know what could happen so they've cast it really well with age and personalities."
