'This c**t has ruined it' Laurence Fox blasts theatre heckler before storming off stage
LAURENCE FOX launched into a foul-mouthed rant at a heckler during a performance of The Patriotic Traitor at London’s Park theatre this week, according to reports.
The actor, who is playing Charles de Gaulle in the show, is believed to have used the c-word to scold a man sat at the front.
"I won’t bother telling you the story because this c**t in the front row has ruined it for everybody," the angry 37-year-old shouted.
It is thought the Lewis star then left the stage and did not return for the final bow with the rest of the cast.
Laurence later appeared to confirm his annoyance in reply to BBC producer Lewis Vickers, when they alluded to the incident on Twitter.
"Exceptional performance of #PatrioticTraitor @ParkTheatre and @LozzaFox dealt brilliantly with that cunning stunt at the end," Lewis tweeted.
Laurence replied: "@LewisVickers he was a cunning stunt wasn't he…? Apologies for my being a cunning stunt as well… So glad you liked it."
His pal then added: "I thought you dealt with it quite well in the circumstances. I hope the rest of the run goes well."
