Nelson's Farm Aid to hand over cash to hurricane victims
The farming charity organisation founded by WILLIE NELSON is to hand over £16,200 to the families worst hit by Hurricanes Ike and Gustav.
Farm Aid bosses will hand over cash and supplies to those struggling in Texas and Louisiana.
Nelson, a native Texan, announced the grants on Thursday (18Sep08).
Farm Aid is America's longest-running benefit concert. It has raised more than £16.2 million since its first show in 1985.
The organisation's next concert will be held in New England on Saturday (20Sep08).
