Jane kept her jewellery to a minimum, adding a chic gold necklace and matching earrings to her impeccable outfit.
The Barbarella actress wore her blonde locks in a voluminous style and kept her make-up neutral.
She was accompanied at the event by her dog Tulea, who wore a vibrant orange collar.
The Rape Foundation was founded in 1989 and brings state-of-the-art care to rape victims and sexually abused children. It also provides prevention programmed to reduce the incidence of these crimes and trains victim service providers to enhance the treatment victims receive.
It was a busy weekend for Jane, who was also honoured at Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
A Revealing Q and A with Jane Fonda - The Ellen Show
The actress received the Kirk Douglas Award For Excellence In Film on Saturday evening.
On receiving the gong, Jane said: "I just wish I could do [my movies] over because I could do it better — and I'm so glad I feel that way 'cause one of the things that can make you really old is when you stop wanting to change, and grow, and learn, and stay curious, you know?
"Acting has saved me many times. I have, over the years, taken hiatuses. I once left the business, I thought forever, [for Ted] Turner, my favourite ex-husband. Off I went, and I didn't miss it for a second."
She added: "But I came back at 65, which is pretty unusual, and I feel very, very blessed that I was able to have a new career so late in life and, as a result, be able to spend time with people who are so profoundly inspired, moving and talented."
