James Spader to play villain in Avengers sequel
Actor JAMES SPADER is set to play the villain in THE AVENGERS sequel.
The three-time Emmy winner will suit up as the title character in new movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, and director Joss Whedon insists his new bad guy will be diabolical.
The filmmaker and writer tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "As a character I love (Ultron), because he's so p**sed off. I knew right away what I wanted to do with him.
"He's always trying to destroy the Avengers, godd**n it, he's got a bee in his bonnet. He's not a happy guy, which means he's an interesting guy. He's got pain. And the way that manifests is not going to be standard robot stuff."
Avengers: Age of Ultron will arrive in theatres in May 2015.
