Victoria Pendleton dries her Strictly tears and sizzles at award night
VICTORIA Pendleton managed to finally dry her Strictly Come Dancing tears as she attended a award gala to celebrate the work of Danny Boyle.
Attending the Evening Standard Theatre Awards, the Strictly Come Dancing star managed to brush off her pink sequins and donned a chic black dress.
The 32-year-old was booted off the reality dance show last night for her uninspiring samba.
But it wasn't long before she was back in the spotlight presenting the award for Beyond Theatre to Danny Boyle and his team for their work on the London 2012 Olympic opening ceremony.
The Olympic champion showed off a deep tan and completed her outfit with a black jacket and her hair loosely tousled on her shoulders.

I did my best but I just wasn’t good enough
Victoria did admit that it was her dancing which let her down when it came to Strictly.
She said: "I was rubbish. I did my best but I just wasn’t good enough."
Pendleton was knocked out against cricketer Michael Vaughan who the judges chose to save.
The cycling star was joined at the red carpet event by some of Hollywood's most glittering stars including, Colin Firth and his wife Livia, Gemma Arteton, Dame Judi Dench and Damian Lewis.
