TV presenter Davina McCall, 57, has shared a promising update with fans following her recent brain surgery to remove a rare colloid cyst.
In a heartfelt video posted on social media, the Masked Singer and star revealed she is making steady progress and even has plans to return to work soon.
“Hi, just a quick update to let everyone know that I'm doing well,” she told viewers.
“The last couple of days I’ve really, really, really felt miles better. I’ve come into London today to celebrate one of Michael’s boy’s birthdays, so that’s lovely.”
Davina also shared that she’s aiming to return to work in about a month.

She went on to clarify a recent misunderstanding about her appearance, explaining: “The picture of me in the wig was from when we recorded The Masked Singer earlier this year, before my operation. I was fit as a fiddle then, and I’m still recovering right now.”
Davina’s health battle began months ago when a health scan was offered to her after a menopause talk.
It revealed the 14mm benign tumour known as a colloid cyst.
In an earlier video, Davina explained the urgency of the situation, saying: “It needs to come out because if it grows, it would be bad.

“They go through the top of my head, through the two halves of my brain to the middle, take out the cyst, empty it, and Bob’s your uncle.”
Her partner, Michael Douglas, has been by her side throughout her recovery. He kept fans updated during her time away from social media, posting: “She is in great shape and in very good hands.”
The surgery, performed via craniotomy, can take up to six hours. Recovery guidelines suggest a six week healing period is the norm.
Before her operation, Davina asked followers to say a prayer for her.

Accompanied by her boyfriend Michael, she became visibly emotional while addressing the audience.
“I’m crying already,” she admitted, before delivering her speech.
Throughout her ordeal, Davina has been buoyed by an outpouring of love from friends, colleagues, and fans.
Fellow TV stars, including Rylan Clark and Amanda Holden, sent her public messages of support.
