Rylan Clark surprises fans as he reveals 'real voice' and everyone's loving it

Rylan Clark surprised his followers with a candid reveal of his authentic speaking voice in a recent Instagram video promoting his new digital talk show, Air Rylan.

The 35-year-old, known for his polished television persona, let his guard down as he announced the launch of the show to his 2.3 million followers.

"So guys, I have been teasing you a little bit, saying that I've got something to tell ya and things like that. Well, I can tell you that I have gone and got my own airline. I'm very excited and it's called Air Rylan," Rylan announced.

Fans were quick to notice the difference in his voice, which he acknowledged was deeper and had a more cockney accent than what they are accustomed to hearing on screen.

The revelation came after fans drew comparisons to TOWIE's Mark Wright, prompting a playful discourse in the comments. "Errrmmm why is your voice so deep now?" asked a fan.

"I forgot when filming the vid to put on my work voice. Sorry x," the star explained, before the fan apologised for causing any offense - "I'm sorry I didn’t mean it nasty, it just sounded strange lol," to which Rylan admitted, "I know! I’m being serious forgot to put my Rylan voice on lol."(sic)

The interaction sparked a wave of support for Rylan's natural voice, with comments such as "@rylan your natural voice is lovely!" and "Your own voice is all you need lovely x."

Meanwhile, Rylan is also making headlines for potentially stepping into a new role as host of BBC's The One Show following Jermaine Jenas' recent departure.

According to The Sun and betting odds from BetIdeas, Rylan is a strong contender to take over, with odds placed at 9/2.
