Gabby Logan's husband holds family meetings about the presenter - as she struggles to adjust to one thing after they have spent some time apart

Gabby Logan has revealed that her husband Kenny holds family meetings about her struggle to adjust when she's spent some time working away.

The BBC presenter said that her family get together to discuss how to react when she returns from her TV work abroad.

Speaking to Romesh Ranganathan on the latest episode of her 'The Mid Point with Gabby Logan' she discussed how her family, which is made up of her husband and two kids, prepare for her being 'out of character', when she returns home from her work overseas.

She said: "My husband says that all the time, with things like World Cups, he say's they have a family meeting, 'give her two days'. And, I don't think I'm being any different. But obviosuly you have got used to not doing the little things around the house, like watching the dishwasher and all that stuff. There is a certain amount of adjustment to be done. "

Most recently, Gabby was part of the BBC's presenting team for the 2024 Olympics in Paris, more specifcically the channel's morning coverage of the atheltics.

And Romesh revealed he has similar situation's occuring in his own family, saying that his eldest child "will sometimes weigh-in saying which one of us (Romesh and his wife) is in the right about something.

He added that his son is quite often the peacemaker in tense moments between him and wife, Leesa, saying: "We don't argue very much, but if we have a differenc of opinion or something, Theo my eldest will go 'dad, I think you were a bit harsh there. I think mum has got a point.' And you go 'okay'.

Romesh has become a household name in recent years, thanks his wealth of tv appearances and presenting roles. To date, the stand-up comedian has picked up two BAFTA's.

In recent years, he has also taken up roles at BBC Radio 2 hosting the weekly shows,For The Love of Hip-Hop and the lunch time Saturday show, replacing Claudia Winkleman earlier this year.

It came after Gabby made a heartfelt family admission as she opened up on a 'really hard time'.

Her son Reuben, 19, is upholding the family's sporting legacy having just resumed pre-season training with his rugby union squad, Northampton Saints, this month.

Gabby disclosed to The Telegraph how palpable his absence is in the family home: "Reuben has just gone back to pre-season. He creates a lot for one person."

Cracking open the refrigerator recently, she was struck by its spaciousness, noting: "I opened the fridge the other day and it suddenly looked tiny... I recognised its contents. But we miss him, his noise and chaos."
