Ben Shephard shares skincare routine including £6.99 cream to avoid 'looking like death'
The 49-year-old ITV presenter gave fans a quick rundown of what he does every morning to keep his face looking young and fresh
Ben Shephard recently shared his skincare routine to social media after announcing that he turns 50 at the end of the year. While many of his fans refused to believe his age, many were curious to know his beauty staples for keeping an ageless look.
The This Morning presenter also debuted a new beard on TV recently, which left fans divided as some joked he "looks like young Richard Gere". Ben credited his youthful on-screen appearance to the amazing work of his makeup artists but he's also an avid skincare fan.
Sharing to Instagram, he said: "This is something I have used for years, tinted moisturisers have been amazing, just in terms of making me look a little bit less like death and less hung over." The product in question is Dove's £6.99 Visible Glow tinted moisturiser in 'Fair to Medium'.
Ben also shared an extensive eye care range which helps reduce fine lines and bags around the delicate eye areas. One of them is Sarah Chapman's Eye Recovery Cream, which consists of a blend of five peptides, antioxidants, vitamins and make-up technology to brighten dark circles and reduce wrinkles. It's currently 17% off on Amazon for £40.05.
He then picked up a £6.99 Amazon product which keeps the skin around his eyes firm, saying: "This one, Celyn Instant Firming Eye, I was giving it a go for a while - Annie thought it made a bit of a difference. And then most recently, Dermalogica Phyto Nature Lifting Eye Cream."
No wonder why Ben always looks so fresh. At £115, his Dermalogica firming and lifting eye treatment claims to show a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles after one use.
But that's not all, Ben took us to the kitchen and continued: "And I have one other weapon in my facial armoury, which of course, I keep in my fridge. There you go, that's just some of the stuff I try and use of a morning. I might leave these on, I think they're very becoming."
