Loose Women star Denise Welch has firmly shut down any discussion regarding her son Matty Healy's former romance with singing sensation Taylor Swift.
Despite the global buzz that surrounded The 1975 frontman's brief dalliance with Taylor last year, Denise has made it clear she won't be divulging any juicy details about his love life, or her other son Louis'.
Fans eager for insider gossip will be left in the lurch as the actress maintains a strict policy of silence when it comes to her children's romantic lives.
While appearing on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong, It's Right podcast, Denise was pressed about Matty's high-profile relationship after a surge of fan curiosity.
She replied: "Yeah, I've never really talked about any of his partners," before cryptically adding: "And, I certainly won't be talking about that one. I won't talk in depth about any of his relationships, so I'm just going to stay off that one, thank you very much."
Denise also highlighted her respect for her sons' privacy, especially now that Matty and Louis are grown up.
"But now, not just because of Matty's fame, but you've got Kaye's [Adams] kids, you've got Nadia's [Sawalha's] kids, they don't want to be talked about, they're in their 20s and 30s and [there's] social media]," she stressed.
"If I say anything, it comes up in a big headline which is why you know, I can talk about me.
"You're only as happy as your unhappiest child, so all you want in life is for your grown up kids to be happy. That's all you want."

She continued to express her pride in both of her sons, confirming that Matty is "very happy" residing in Los Angeles.
The vocalist became engaged to singer and model Gabbriette Bechtel earlier this year, following several months of dating.
Announcing the news on Loose Women in June, Denise was full of compliments for her future daughter-in-law.
Speaking with her fellow panellists, she revealed: "I woke up this morning to the fact they've put it on Instagram. Instagram official, he has got engaged to Gabbriette Bechtel, Gabbriette, she's known as.
"She's from Los Angeles, she is absolutely gorgeous.
"We couldn't be happier. She is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law."
Taylor has also since moved on from her romance with Matt and is currently dating Travis Kelce.
